PLEASE NOTE that the Tourmakeady 8k Great Lakes Challenge walk / run  is taking place on Saturday 21st February at 12 noon.  There will be intermittent disruption on the local village road.   Please be advised that there will be disruption from 10.30am onwards and until after the event is finished.   Many thanks for your understanding!

Music lessons (tin whistle/flute) in Halla Tourmakeady every Saturday at 10a.m.  Every level musician welcome. More information: 0876575490

Join us for light refreshments and a good chat.  There are plenty of toys and learning equipment..

Zumba and the new activities taking place in Halla Tourmakeady - Mondays 8pm to 9pm Circuits, cardio, pilates, yoga, piloxing, strength (weights and kettlebells) training - Thursdays 8pm to 9pm Zumba pay as you go €7 - student €4 block of 6 weeks 1 class per week €35 block of 6 weeks 2 class per week €60

Dressmaking Classes start in the hall on Wednesday 4th March 2015 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.    The cost is €50 for six weeks.  On the first night bring a sewing machine, sewing box with threads, a measuring tape, scissors etc and a metre of fabric or old fabric you have at home. Rose of Tralee Marie Walsh and the launch Great Lakes Challenge Series 2015 at Clare Lake.  Thank you to everyone who made such a great effort to represent Tourmakeady and the 8k walk / run event ‘Out of the Woods’ Tourmakeady.  The organisation of the whole event was excellent and big thank you to Rose of Tralee Marie Walsh for her warm and generous contribution which made the event that much more special.

This route will be the first event of the Great Lakes Challenge Series which is taking place the following week on 21st February at 12 noon. If you’re looking to get in a bit of training or just out for some fresh air, come and meet at Tourmakeady Hall. The route is suitable for all abilities and ages. A family outing and all are welcome. Rose of Tralee - Please Note Change of time for the Launch of the Great Lakes Challenge Series on Friday 6th February the time has been changed to 4.00pm at Clare Lake, Claremorris  The Rose of Tralee Maria Walsh will be launching this event and there will be Mayo footballers hurlers and some of the Connacht Rugby team joining us plus other local celebrities! Be sure to make a date to be there.
