5. 00pm at Clare Lake, Claremorris The Rose of Tralee Maria Walsh will be launching this event and there will be Mayo footballers hurlers and some of the Connacht Rugby team joining us plus other local celebrities! Be sure to make a date to be there gates open at 4pm! Refreshments after in Killeen’s Bar, Claremorris

This route will be the first event of the Great Lakes Challenge Series which is taking place on 21st February. If you’re looking to get in a bit of training or just out for some fresh air, come and meet at Tourmakeady Hall. The route is suitable for all abilities and ages. A family outing and all are welcome. If you are a new family in the area with a baby or toddler(s) not at school you are most welcome. We have refreshments for all and a good chat. A great team from Partry and Tourmakeady are currently working together with Clonbur, Carnacon, Claremorris and Ballinrobe. They have organised this first ever series of five running / walking events from February to April 2015.

A new defibrillator has been sited on the front outside wall of Halla Tourmakeady in the village. It is now fully operational. The other defibrillator locations in Tourmakeady are - : Coláiste Muire, the GAA stand and Máire Luke's. Anybody interested on any aspect of first aid or for more information please contact Brian Gibbons on (087) 1200478. The Hall committee would like to thank Brian and his colleagues for supporting this project!

Great Lakes Challenge Series 2015 starting with "Out of the Woods" -Tourmakeady Woods 8k Saturday 21st February 2015. A great team from Partry and Tourmakeady are currently working together with Clonbur, Carnacon, Claremorris and Ballinrobe. They have organised this first ever series of five running / walking events from February to April 2015. Watch this space for the launch date of the Challenge which will be in January!

Defibrillators in Tourmakeady - the locations are: Coláiste Muire, the GAA stand and Máire Luke's. A new site on the front outside wall of Halla Tourmakeady has been selected instead of the previous site in O’Toole’s. This new site will be fully operational early in the New Year.
