Hi Jill, the mass was celebtated at Lough Mask shore carpark between Tourmakeady and Partry.aka Tom Phil's field. The memorial stone for Robert Shaw, who lived here for a while and died here served as a 'mass rock'. It was a wonderful inspiring mass. The music began with solo flute playing 'the dawning of the day' and Fr John began by singing The Deers Cry -aka St Patricks breastplate (from Sean Daveys The Pilgrim).
